Disco fever hits Bristol families!
Groovy Babies is launched in association with Titchhikers and Families Bristol
and is coming to the O2 Academy Bristol on Saturday 5 December.
Groovy Babies is the ultimate disco experience for 0 – 7 year olds and an opportunity for mums and dads to boogie with their babies to all the old school tunes and classic dance hits!
The Academy on Frogmore Street will be transformed into an exclusive child proof nightclub for the afternoon with great music, flashing lights, glow sticks .........and changing stations in the loos!
Don’t expect a late night lock in – the music ends well before bath time at 5pm. However, from 2pm there will be loads of activities and prizes to be won plus a baby chill out zone and bar for thirsty parents.
Car parking is available at the Trenchard Street NCP across the road with buggy parking in the Club.
The disco is in support of the West of England MS Therapy Centre and all proceeds go towards the charity which provides affordable therapies for people suffering from Multiple Sclerosis – the most common form of disability amongst young people in the UK.

The event is being held at the o2 Academy Bristol, Frogmore Street, Bristol BS1 from 2pm – 5pm.
What’s going on!
- “Chill out” zone for non walkers with soft play matting and toys
- Small exhibition area with baby suppliers including Puddleducks, the Little Monster Baby and Toddler show, Looking Glass photography and Titchhikers Guide to Bristol.
- Raffle with fantastic prizes from Jo Jo Maman Bebe, Yeo Valley, Bristol Zoo, Noah’s Ark and Wiggles and Giggles.
- Other entertainment, prizes and games!
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
