The Weston Ice Cream Walk…..In aid of the West of England MS Therapy Centre

We are five employees of Hewlett Packard + one non HP person, that are planning to raise hopefully £1000 by walking from the HP Bristol office (Filton) on Thursday the 9th of April to purchase an Ice Cream at the Grand Pier, Weston-super-Mare.

Total distance is over 28 miles (over 44 km), so it’ll be a long hard slog, and we’re asking for your support by sponsoring us on behalf of  the West of England MS Therapy Centre. All monies donated will go straight to the MS Centre, as any expenses incurred are being picked up directly by us.

• Wayne Day

Some of us are keen runners, while for others (Me in particular), this is going to be a very Big challenge!

The West of England MS Therapy Centre offers these therapies for donation rates and does not turn people away based on their ability to pay. In total the Centre currently needs to raise in excess of £200,000 per year to keep running, and it does not receive any statutory funding, so all the money raised for the centre comes from voluntary donations.
